There is also a timeframe for meeting the DACA guidelines. (I know!  So many different rules!)  From the USCIS website, you must demonstrate that on June 15, 2012 you:

  1. were under the age of 31
  2. were physically in the US
  3. had no lawful status

So far so good?  There’s more.  As of the date you file your DACA request you:

  1. have lived continuously in the US since June 15, 2000
  2. came to the US before your 16th birthday
  3. were physically present in the US, and
  4. are in school, graduated from high school in the US or have a GED, or
  5. were honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the US.

If you think you meet the DACA timeline, give our partner Erika Portillo a call to discuss your case.  Erika and her team have helped many DREAMERS.  Let them help you with your immigration status.  Give Erika a call at 925.459.8440 or email at info@gtplawyers.com.
